I have been wanting to start my own record label for years and now the moment is finally there: Rain or Shine records is a fact! The first single release ‘Never Gonna Stop’ will be out July 22nd and there are already more releases in the pipeline.
It was always a dream of mine to have my own record label, but I always saw obstabcles on the road that prevented me from really making it happen. After several releases on renowned garage house labels I felt confident enough and motivated to follow through. I got the first idea for Rain or Shine as a concept last year when trying to come up with a decent name and meaning for the label. My music can either sound moody and raw (Rain) or more uplifting and full of festival vibes (Shine). The dictionary's definition of Rain or Shine is: "No matter what the weather or other circumstances are like; even if it rains." Which describes my passion and drive to make music and run this label, but also the versatility in sound I want Rain or Shine to represent.
In short Rain or Shine will be a platform for me to release my own music without any limitations or boundaries. I also have plans to release music from talented artists I like and want to support. Style wise anything goes within the broad spectrum of underground house and garage music.
